Finland News: Finland School Shooting

The Finland school shooting is in Finland News. A male lone gunman was involved in the Findland school’s shooting. The male responsible for the Finland school’s shooting wore a black hood and was armed with an automatic firearm. The Finland school was for adults. Finland’s school shooting was in the town of Kauhajoki around 11 am (8 am GMT) on Tuesday September 23.

STT, Finland’s news agency, reported that the gunman was suspected to have explosives. A fire broke out from possible use of explosives during the Finland school shooting in Kauhajoki. The gunman shot himself after the massacres but he is still alive and in police custody.

Jussi Muotio, of Kauhajoki police, refused to disclose the number of dead or injured. Mr. Saari, 22, a resident of Kauhajoki, had posted 4 videos in YouTube. The videos were uploaded 5 days – 3 weeks ago. Mr. Saari is suspected to be the gunman. In Mr. Saari’s profile, there were some quotes –
“And suddenly there was war and the mothers they screamed. For revenge and reprisals for another war.”
Another quote – “Whole life is war and whole life is pain. And you will fight alone in your personal war.”
Where is Kauhajoki? Kauhajoki is in the west of Finland. Kauhajoki is 200 miles away from the capitol of Helsinki.

In 2007, there was a Finland school shooting in Jokela. The gunman had posted a warning in a video on YouTube. Pekka-Eric Auvinen, 18, killed nine people: six students, the school principal and school nurse, and himself. Pekka-Eric Auvinen had made a YouTube to warn of his intentions.
