Tina Fey, boosted by her debut impersonation of Sarah Palin, reprised her role on Saturday Night Live September 27. (Video here) Tina Fey parodied Palin in the opening for SNL. Amy Poehler was given the unenviable task of satirizing Katie Couric. Poehler acted the straight, puzzled, confused and beleaguered interviewer Couric.

Fey/Palin recounted her week in New York, visiting the “goofy Evolution Museum.” Fey reported 15-20 false alarms on sightings of Osama Bin Laden in NYC! The Palins went to see the film, “The Bush Doctrine”, only to discover it wasn’t about politics. When Couric (Poehler) asked Palin (Fey)n about her trip to the U.N., Fey retorted that she saw many foreigners in the U.N. and promised it was time for change and reform to return those jobs to Americans. Palin’s foreign policy, from Alaska, is to watch for any stray Russians and shoo back them across the border.
