Felix Sandoval Jr., of Martinez, California, was involved in a gun battle that killed Martinez police Sgt Paul Starzyk, and Catalina Torres. Early News reports did not identify the dead.

Catalina Torres, 44, was Felix Sandoval’s wife’s cousin. Felix Sandoval Jr., had went inside the beauty salon to see his estranged wife. He ran away to an apartment complex when police arrived. The terror ended when Felix Sandoval Jr. was shot dead.
