Eugene Lockhart was arrested. Eugene Lockhart was a former footballer with The Dallas Cowboys. Lockhart was nicknamed “The Hitting Machine”. Lockhart is himself hit by mortgage fraud charges.

Eugene Lockhart, 48, is accused of conspiracy, bank fraud and wire fraud. Lockhart is allegedly involved in 54 fake bank loans to get $20.5 million.

Eugene Lockhart and 8 others are being accused in the scam of jacking up the prices of properties sold to get bigger bank loans. The racketeers got the excess money.
