Ethan Zohn & Jenny Morasca: Zohn & Morasca fight Hodgekin’s Disease (photos)

Updated Sep 14 2009 -Ethan Zohn learned on Aug 26 that his cancer has erturned with a vengeance. Zohn will now undergo new treatment to fight Hodgekin’s Disease. Zohn’s doctors have planned to do stem cell transplant and other treatment to battle the raging Hodgekin’s Disease.

Ethan Zohn is disappointed. Zohn said he had been training to run in the New York Marathon.

Ethan Zohn, the winner of 2002 Survivor: Africa, has to fight his ultimate fight to become a surivivor again. Zohn has Hodgekin’s Disease, a form of cancer of the lymph nodes. Zohn, 35, experienced symptoms like itching and night sweats. People with similar symptoms should be aware and go for a medical checkup.

Zohn has shared his Hodgekins Disease and has received the unwavering support of his long time girlfriend, Jenny Morasca. Morasca, 27, herself is the Season Six winner of “Survivor: The Amazon”.

What is Hodgekin’s Disease? Hodgekin’s Disease has several forms and Zohn has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This cancer is highly treatable with chemotherapy. The survival rate for Hodgekin’s Lymphoma is 90%.

Ethan Zohn & Jenny Morasca are fighting Hodgkin’s Lymphoma together as they know how close to heart cancer strikes. Both Zohn and Morasca had lost parents to cancer.

Zohn will shave his head before chemo makes him look like he’s balding.
