Johnny Tremain is a children’s book by Esther Forbes. In her story, Forbes retold the history of Boston before the American Revolution. Johnny Tremain won the Newberry Medal award in 1944. In 1957, Walt Disney Pictures made Johnny Tremain into a movie.
