Fabian Nunez’s son, Esteban Armando Nuñez, 19, was arrested in Sacremento County on Tue., Dec. 2. Esteban Armando Nuñez was arrested as a suspect in the murder of a college student, Luis Santos, 22, in San Diego.

Esteban Armando Nuñez was arrested together with 3 men - Ryan Jett, Rafael Garcia and Leshanor Thomas. All suspects are 19. Each suspect faces 1 count of murder and 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Luis Santos was stabbed to death on Oct. 4, in a party near San Diego State. Luis Santos was knifed during a quarrel with other party guests.

Esteban Armando Nuñez is the son of Fabian Nunez, an ex Assembly Speaker. Term limits forced Fabian Nunez to leave office in 2008.
