Was Erin Westrate bitten by a vampire? No. Erin Westrate, a fan of New Moon, filed a police report. Westrate claimed a man bit her neck at a movie theater in Norton Shores, in Michigan. Westrate said she was bitten on her neck on Friday night, November 20. Westrate claimed she was bitten just outside the theater.

Witnesses said they saw Westarte leaving and she was not attacked by anyone who bit her neck. Police interrogated Westrate intensely and she admitted she lied. Westrate said the man, in his 40s, kissed her neck with her consent. Police said they are considering on filing criminal charges against Westrate for making a fake police report.
