Erin Caffey and Bobbi Gale Johnson are accused of killing Mrs Caffey, Erin’s mother, Erin Caffey’s 2 brothers and shooting of Erin’s father, Mr Caffey. Mr Caffey survived the shooting. The deaths happened on Mar. 1, 2008.

Charles Allen Waid, 20, and Charlie James Wilkinson, 19, are two defendants in the same case. Waid and Wilkinson pleaded guilty on Nov. 7, 2008. Waid and Wilkinson face life in prison sentences without possibility of parole. Waid and Wilkinson agreed to be prosecution witnesses and testify against Caffey and Johnson.

Mrs Penny Caffey, 37, was shot dead. Mr Terry Caffey, 41, was shot but survived. Tyler Caffey, 8, was stabbed with a sword. Matthew Caffey, 13, was shot dead. The Caffey family home was set on fire. The motive was objection to Erin Caffey’s relationship with Wilkinson. Mr and Mrs Caffey allegedly objected to Erin Caffey’s relationship with her boyfriend and removed her cell phone. Wilkinson said this and also that Erin told him she wanted her parents dead.

Erin Caffey, 16 in 2008, was given 2 life sentences and 25 years. A plea deal was reached on Fri., Jan. 2. Erin Caffey could be eligible for parole when she becomes 59. Johnson received 40 years and can apply for parole after 20 years.
