What happened to Erik Bluemel? Erik Bluemel, an assistant professor in the University of Denver, had a mysterious incident on a bicycle pathway. Erik Bluemel, 32, taught administrative law, environmental law and “indigenous people’s law”.

The law school’s dean told students Ass. Prof Bluemel was assaulted and had severe injuries. However, police did not confirm this as investigations were still ongoing. Police would only say Bluemel crashed his bicycle under a bridge.

Bluemel was warded in hospital and placed on life support. Bluemel had surgery but was not expected to survive. Erik Bluemel’s parents have confirmed his organs will be donated after his death. Bluemel’s photo is at the link. Our prayers go out to Erik Bluemel, his famly and friends.
