July 9 2010 – Todd English spoke for the first time about his failed wedding party with his former fiancée Erica Wang. Mr English clarified that he didn’t leave the bill to Ms Wang. He said he would like to get married one day, to another woman.

Todd English said he would like to get married to Giada De Laurentis, another cooking show host. But first things first; Mr English has to date his secret crush, Giada De Laurentis.

Updated October 19 2009 – Erica Wang was arrested for assaulting Todd English. Wang was charged for using a Chopard watch to hit English above his eye.

English needed 7 stitches to close the cut. This assault took place on September 14, 2009. English didn’t report this matter to the police until Wang gave a negative interview to a media outlet, about their canceled wedding. English then decided to press charges to show Wang’s character and protect his credibility.

The cause of the breakup was allegedly over the pre-nuptial agreement which gave Wang nothing. English claimed Wang assaulted him during the argument.

Erica Wang has to pay $12,000 for the remaining balance of her canceled wedding dinner. Todd English canceled his former fiancee’s credit cards, asked her to move out of their shared apartment, and fired her from her job working for him.

Erica Wang and Todd English have canceled their wedding. Todd English is a chef in Boston. Erica Wang has been dating English for the past two years. Wang and English had a rocky relationship and when their wedding was canceled, their friends weren’t very surprised.

Todd English and Erica Wang canceled their wedding that was previously scheduled for Saturday, October 3. English’s camp said the cancellation was a mutual decision made by both Wang and English. Families, relatives and friends of both Wang and English were informed of the last minute change in plans a few days before Saturday.

However, some of the guests that had received wedding invitations had already traveled to New York a few days in advance so they couldn’t turn back.

Erica Wang and her friends went ahead to celebrate a different event, using the party entertainment that was pre-ordered. Wang was dressed in black, as if in mourning, and the party was unlike anything of a condolence party. Wang’s guests danced and enjoyed the food and beverages. English’s rep released an official statement to ask for privacy.

Todd English’s friends who were stuck in NYC went to watch NBC taping SNL. That Saturday, Ryan Reynolds was having Lady GaGa as his musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
