Eric Mohat, 17, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound 2 years ago. Mohat, of Ohio, was from Mentor High School. The Mohat family has filed a lawsuit to sue the school. The Mohats believed the school failed to take action to help Eric, who allegedly suffered from bullying and harassment.

The Mohat family claimed Eric cried in the hallway on the day he shot himself. A school administrator allegedly saw Eric Mohat in tears but did nothing to help him.

Mentor High School has released a statement to defend itself. Mentor said it took all claims of bullying and harassment seriously. The school supposedly practised an anti-bullying program.
