Eric Collins shot Denise Delgado-Brown: Collins’ arrow hit Delgado-Brown (photos)
By Therese Lisieux on March 17th, 2009Denise Delgado-Brown was standing on a street in Bronx when suddenly, she was shot by an arrow. Delgado-Brown said her doctors told her she narrowly missed death by an inch.
The arrow pierced Delgado-Brown in her stomach. Police said the arrow could have been shot from a rooftop.
Denise Delgado-Brown was recovering from her hospital bed in St Barnabas Hospital, in the Bronx. Delgado-Brown was impaled by the arrow on Monday, March 16. Delgado-Brown’s boyfriend, Randy Holdip, said they hoped the shooter would surrender to the police. Holdip said he would forgive the shooter if it was an accident.

Police arrested Eric Collins, 27, for shooting the arrow. Collins aimed the arrow at the fence but it passed through and traveled to the neighboring property. Collins is a plumber by profession.
