Eric Besson, the French Immigration Minister, has been accused of infidelity, by his former wife, Sylvie Brunel.

Brunel, 49, wrote a new book called “Guerilla Handbook for Women”. Brunel claimed Besson, 51, was unfaithful throughout their relationship, which lasted 30 years. Brunel said Besson walked out on her after getting a girlfriend who was of the same age as their eldest daughter.

Besson refused to make public statements about his ex wife’s book. In 2004, Beeson’s daughter published her book about how she grew up with a father who was obsessed with his work.
