Emma Leigh Barker, 18 months old, went missing on Wednesday, March 18. Barker is feared dead. LA County Sheriff’s Department found a toddler’s body on Thursday, March 19.

The identity has not been positively confirmed but police are sure the body belongs to Emma Barker.

Baker’s mother, Stacy Barker, claimed she lost consciousness in her car with Emma Barker. When she awoke, her daughter was missing. The car was allegedly driven to another location.

Emma Leigh Barker’s body has been positively identified. Barker’s mother has changed her story. The woman said Barker’s death was an accident. Investigators are trying to determine the cause and manner of death of Emma Barker.
