Emilio Navaira was convicted of DUI and he was not licensed to drive the tour bus.

Emilio Navaira was sentenced to three days in jail, 27 days under house arrest, serve two years’ probation, pay a $4,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Emilio Navaira had one old DUI conviction, was out on bond for another DUI charge when he crashed the bus on his third DUI incident.

Emilio Navaira’s band members were injured in the tour bus crash. They have filed civil lawsuits.

Emilio Navaira, a Tejano singer, had a car accident on Wednesday, Sept. 24. Emilio Navaira had a previous accident which left him and others in his tour bus seriously injured.

Emilio Navaira and his wife, Maria Navaira were in their car traveling back after attending a rehab session. Maria Navaira was the driver. The Navaira car crashed with a truck. The truck driver was unharmed.
