Ellen DeGeneres, one of the earliest show biz personalities to come out of the closet about her sexuality, has married her lesbian partner, Portia de Rossi. Ellen DeGeneres is 50 while Portia de Rossi is 35.

Only 19 guests witnessed the wedding ceremony whereby the couple exchanged handwritten vows. A friend became the represenative for the couple and made this announcement to the press.

Ellen DeGeneres’ previous girlfriend was Anne Heche. DeGeneres was heartbroken when Heche left.
