Ellen DeGeneres spoke about marriage and breast cancer. Ellen DeGeneres is objecting on California’s Proposition 8 which wants to ban same sex marriages. DeGeneres said her marriage to her same sex partner, Portia de Rossi, has changed her life by improving it. DeGeneres said she felt different, mellower and more in love. DeGeneres revealed she felt romantic and lovely after her marriage. DeGeneres joked that she had to remember to change her line to say “my wife” and not “my girlfriend.”

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and DeGeneres has recorded some messages for this campaign. DeGeneres said that her mother was a victim of breast cancer so she has taken up this issue very seriously. DeGeneres thinks that due to the inheritance of genes, she is susceptible to this disease. He submits to a mammogram once yearly. In addition, DeGeneres has a personal yearly mission. Every year, DeGeneres will discover a new anti-breast cancer program to support.
