Elizabeth Payne said she became involved with Rev. Wright and subsequently lost her job and her husband. Elizabeth Payne declined to give details of her affair with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Payne claimed that Friendship-West Baptist Church members discovered her affair with Rev. Jeremiah Wright last Spring. (Spring 2007) Elizabeth Payne has filed a claim, quoting wrongful dismissal in her bid to get her old job back. Payne’s claim is with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
