Ekta Chaudhary, 22, from New Delhi, was crowned Miss India Universe 2009. The beauty pageant was held in Mumbai.

Ekta Chaudhary is 5 feet 9 and half inches tall, weighs 55.5 kg, and measures 32-24-36.

Pooja Chopra was crowned Miss India World. The former queen was Parvathy Omanakuttan.

Shriya Kishore became Miss India Earth. Her predecessor was Miss Tanvi Vyas.

The former beauty queens presented the crowns to their successors.
