November 12 – Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, have been threatened with an extortion demand. Crawford and Gerber’s daughter, Kaia Jordan Gerber, was photographed while tied to a chair and she was gagged.

Edis Kayalar is accused of blackmailing and extorting money from Gerber and Crawford. Kayalar was a friend of Crawford’s ex nanny. The nanny and Crawford’s daughter played a game of cops and robbers. The 7 year old girl was tied to a chair and gagged. The girl’s picture was taken. The case has yet to be proved.

Ed Kayalar is alleging Crawford and Gerber may have done something wrong by bounding and gagging the minor. The former nanny took photos of little Miss Gerber as a joke and keep for laughs. Ed Kayalar, being the nanny’s friend, managed to get access to the picture and allegedly stole it from the childminder.

Kayalar had approached Gerber once before to sell a copy of the picture. Kayalar told Gerber it was the original copy and sold it for $1000. Kayalar asked Gerber for more money to buy a second copy of the picture.

Gerber contacted the authorities. Kayalar was arrested on September 16, 2009. Kayalar was discovered to be in violation of an immigration law. Kayalar was then deported to Germany.

Kayalar was unhappy and allegedly wanted more money. He called Crawford and Gerber from his place in Germany. Kayalar warned them that since they got him deported, he wanted more money. Kayalar allegedly threatened to release the photo to the media. Kayalar supposedly asked for $100,000.

Kayalar or someone else has started shopping the alleged picture to some news media.

Who is Edis Kayalar?

Kayalar should have counted himself lucky to be deported and not serving time in the US. Instead, Kayalar has been accused of trying to extort more money.

Kayalar used to work as a model for Hermaevents, which is a German company for models.

Kayalar claimed he took possession of the minor’s picture after he became concerned over possible abusive treatment of the girl (allegedly Kaia Jordan Gerber). Instead of reporting this to the proper channels, Kayalar tried to sell the photo.

Cindy Crawford’s second husband is Rande Gerber. Crawford and Gerber were married on May 29, 1998. Their kids are Presley Walker Gerber, born on July 2, 1999 and Kaia Jordan Gerber, born on September 3, 2001.

Cindy Crawford’s first marriage was to Richard Gere. Crawford and Gere were married from 1991 to 1995, before they divorced.

March 25 2009 – Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber: Gerber sued for sexual harassment.

Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford’s husband, has been sued for sexual harassment. Two former waitresses working in Gerber’s restaurant claimed they were fired for refusing to submit to sexual advances from Gerber and other managers of the restaurant where they had worked.

Gerber’s restaurant in reference is the Moonstone Lounge in Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. One ex waitress claimed Gerber tried to kiss her thrice and put his hand up her thigh to feel her groin. The former waitresses are suing for unspecified damages. Rande Gerber’s representative denied the allegations. Gerber’s rep claimed the lawsuit had no merit. The allegations were investigated and shown to be “baseless”.

George Clooney is coming to the rescue of Rande Gerber. Clooney is taking the witness stand to testify against the ex waitresses. Gerber said their allegations were lies and he wants George Clooney to testify.

Gerber’s rep said his client and Clooney were willing to take lie detector tests to show that the claims against Gerber are false. Gerber is threatening to file $10 million lawsuit against the two ex employees for malicious prosecution after he clears his name in this lawsuit.
