If you had watched San Diego Chargers play Denver Broncos, you would be mad or happy with Ed Hochuli. Hochuli blew his whistle too early to call out a fumble play and San Diego Chargers lost the game. Angry fans supposedly emailed Hochuli dissing him. Hochuli wrote back with a standard reply. At least, this is what is passed around as Ed Hochuli’s email:

You can rest assured that nothing anyone can say can make me feel worse than I already feel about my mistake on the fumble play. You have no idea . . .

Affecting the outcome of a game is a devastating feeling. Officials strive for perfection – I failed miserably. Although it does no good to say it, I am very, very sorry.
