Eartha Kitt, famous for singing “Santa Baby” in 1953, has died. Eartha Kitt died on Dec. 25. Kitt died of colon cancer at 81. The video of Eartha Kitt’s Santa Baby is below.

Eartha Kitt was an actress, singer and cabaret star. One of her famous works was as Catwoman in “Batman”, in the TV series of the 1960s.

Orson Welles stage production of of Dr Faustus in 1950 had cast Eartha Kitt as Helen of Troy. Welles once said Eartha Kitt was the most exciting woman in the world.

Eartha Kitt was sickly since 1 year ago but she stopped working only about 2 months ago. Eartha Kitt will be remembered best for “Santa Baby.”
