DWTS had a double elimination when Tom DeLay eliminated himself. DeLay had stress fractures in both feet and his doctor had advised him to hang up his dance shoes. Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron said Mr DeLay could return to rejoin the cast for the season finale if his fee were recovered from their stress fractures.

Michael Irvin and Debi Mazar had the lowest scores on October 6. Eventually, it was Debi Mazar who got sent home this week.
