The problem is that Robin really loved Dwina!! Her celibacy pretty much forced him to look elsewhere due to his “very strong sex drive”!! What else was he supposed yo do? No, it wasn’t right, but I feel that SHE (Dwina) was most at fault here!!

I have never known an “open marriage” to work out. When someone says they want an open marriage, they are usually talking about themselves and it’s always a shock when they find their spouse has been “open” too! The housekeeper was probably sick and tired of her 8 year “affair” and thought that a baby might speed things along (8 years is a long time…). She’s gotten a life of wealth and ease out of the deal, everyone else has gone back to their “normal” state, so no harm done. Now Robin is dying and that should be the primary concern.

Maybe Robin planned for the maid to get pregnant. Does he have any grandchildren? I agree that Dwina will never leave the marriage due to the millions she receives as the wife of a Bee Gee. Robin admits to be a bit of a rebel. It sounds like an odd marriage but Robin always seem to look “outside the box.”
first of all it is a stupid move to allow your husband free reign with the housekeeper but even dumber to act all surprised there is a baby in the mix. IF Dwina felt like she could have satisfied all Robins needs , she would not have felt it he needed to “shop Around”. If hewas my husband I woud make sure he would not have the energy to “do” anybody else, let alone even want to!!!! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM DWINA? He can have another woman but not the most precious gift from God, a child? You are half A BRICK FROM A FULL LOAD.
Tons of women would sleep with Robin and willingly want to have his baby. Dwina is probably upset because she had a son several years before Robin agreed to marry her. It’s all about money.I don’t blame Robin since he has always stated that his marriage allows him freedom. His choice of women, Dwina and Claire aren’t women that are terribly attractive. I would have thought he would prefer the a model or someone whom is sexy and has some sort of position in society.
Heck, I would be satisfied just to be one of Robin Gibbs dogs. Wow! What a life his pets must live.
Robins private life is a bit odd but I admire him for his talent. Hope he tours the US someday.
