Dwayne David and Kayshawn Forde were brothers who were killed by NYPD officers. Police saw them fire into a crowd in a Brooklyn street. Dwayne David, 22, and Kayshawn Forde, 21, ran towards two police officers with their guns raised.

They did not know that the men were plainclothes officers. The officers claimed they ordered Dwayne David and Kayshawn Forde to stop but they did not. One NYPD officer fired 16 rounds of bullets while the other fired two. The police claimed the actions of their plainclothes officers were justified under the department guidelines.
