Dr. Rashid Sandhu, 30, of Welling, Kent, was sentenced to 8 years jail. Rashid Sandhu received his sentence at the Norwich Crown Court. Rashid Sandhu was convicted after a trial in April.

A & E Department, James Paget Hospital in Gorleston, Norfolk

Rashid Sandhu worked at the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston, Norfolk. Rashid Sandhu used the girl to recreate a pornographic image. Police found about 100 child porn pictures in Rashid Sandhu’s lap top. John Donnolly tried to defend his client. He said Rashid Sandhu was from Pakistan originally. Rashid Sandhu was married with a yound child. Rashid Sandhu came from a hard working military family in his native Pakistan. Rashid Sandhu was a top pupil in his class.

Judge Simon Barham told Rashid Sandhu that his offence was a serious abuse of trust. Rashid Sandhu has been banned from working with children in the future.

The dectective, Inspector Matt Sharman of Norfolk police, said that the judicial system was fair and uncorrupted. Disregarding the person’s status, a crime would still be punishable.
