Dr Frederick Goodwin: Goodwin’s “The Infinite Mind” axed
By Therese Lisieux on November 22nd, 2008Dr. Frederick K. Goodwin, a psychiatrist and host of NPR’s “The Infinite Mind”, is being investigated for promoting drug makers. Dr. Goowin earned a minimum of $1.3 million during 2000 – 2007 giving marketing lectures for drugmakers. NPR will remove “The Infinite Mind” from its satellite radio service next week as that is the earliest possible date for the program to be axed
Radio listeners were unaware that Dr. Frederick Goodwin was working for the drug companies and his radio presentations could have been biased.
