Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr, died

Dr. Dre, a rapper, has lost a son, named Andre Young Jr. Andre Young Jr was found dead at home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning, August 23.

Andre Young was discovered unresponsive when his mother tried to check on him at 10 am on Saturday morning. Andre Young Jr had gone out on Friday night and returned home at 12:30 am, Saturday morning. By 10 am, when his mother, Jenita Porter, went to his room, he was unconscious. She called an ambulance and Andre Young Jr was sent to hospital but he died. The coronor will perform an autopsy on Andre Young Jr to determine the cause of death.

Dr. Dre has four other children. Dr. Dre has Marcel, 17, with his ex-lover, singer Michel’le. Dr. Dre has two children with his ex-wife Nicole Threatt. They are Truth Young, 11, and daughter Truly Young, 7. Dr. Dre is the father of rapper Hood Surgeon.
