Douglas Quijano: Douglas Quijano died
By Therese Lisieux on June 13th, 2009Douglas Quijano, a talent manager, has died at his holiday rest house in Lucban, Quezon, Philippines. Quijano died on Saturday, June 13, at around 10 am.
Quijano passed away at the age of 64. He had suffered from diabetes and a heart condition. The doctor who had checked Quijano’s body said he died of a stroke.
On the eve of his death, Quijano had complained of some health problems. He visited his doctor but Quijano refused to go to the hospital.
The next morning, Quijano’s helpers checked in on him and saw him lying on the floor of his bedroom. They checked for his pulse and found him dead.
Quijano’s body will be returned to Manila. His wake will be held at Heritage Park in Taguig City.
Quijano had managed many actors during his long career. Some of his famous talent discoveries and protégés are John Estrada, Richard Gomez, Gelli de Belen, Richard Gutierrez and Wendell Ramos.
