Dongfan “Greg” Chung, 73, of Orange County, has been convicted of espionage. Chung was the first to be convicted under the law called the Economic Espionage Act.

Chung was a former aerospace engineer at the Boeing plant in Huntington Beach.

Investigators found evidence against Chung. Chung hid 300,000 documents in his home. Chung was found guilty of acting as a foreign agent, violating the Economic Espionage Act, and telling a lie to the FBI.
