Don Cheadle will replace Terrene Howard in his role as Tony Stark’s best friend in the military, Jim Rhodes. Marvel Studios will film “Iron Man 2.” Sources claimed that Terrence Howard and Marvel Studios failed to reach an agreement over the money matters. Marvel then approached Don Cheadle. Don Cheadle will become Jim Rhodes in Justin Theroux’s screenplay.

The director will remain as Jon Favreau. Robert Downey Jr will reprise his role as Tony Stark. Gwyneth Paltrow reprises her old role as Pepper Potts, Stark’s female assistant. “Iron Man 2” has a planned release date on May 7, 2010.
