DJ Richard Pegue, of Chicago, has died. Pegue worked on radio from 1960s – 1990s. Pegue wrote commercial jingles too.

Pegue died on Tuesday, March 2. Pegue had complained about chest pains shortly before his death. Pegue was 64 when he died. Pegue’s fan and writer, Ben Joravsky, wrote a wonderful tribute to him here.
