The Dionne quintuplets were named Annette, Cecile, Yvonne, Marie and Emilie. The quintuplets babies derived from a single egg that split into five separate fetus. The Dionne quintuplets were born on May 28, 1934.
The Canadian government kept the Dionne quintuplets in a special hospital called “Quintland”. Quintland became a tourist attraction that collected money for people to see the unique Dionne quintuplets.
CNN last published about the Dionne quintuplets in 1997, when they were 63 years old. Emilie Dionne and Marie Dionne died when they were young women.
Yvonne Dionne died in June 23, 2001 when she was 67. Yvonne died of cancer.
In 2009, the surviving Dionne siblings, Annette and Cecile are 74 years old, going on 75.
