Jay Glazer, of Fox Sports, reported that Brett Favre spoke on the telephone with the Detroit Lions coach earlier in 2008 to share information on his old team, the Green Bay Packers. Brett Favre allegedly gave information on the Green Bay packers’ offense tactics. The Detroit Lions could not win and lost to the Green Bay Packers 48-25. (Story)

NFL’s league spokesman, Greg Aiello, said that if that was true, Brett Favre did not make any violations. Brett Favre denied the allegation on information sharing (or treason against his old team). The Detroit Lions’ coaches refused to comment on the gossip item. The story is here.
