Dick Clark, 79, suffered a stroke on Dec.6, 2004. Clark has recovered but has difficulty talking and has to use a walker or wheelchair. Clark, who has been working in front of a camera for 61 years, is not ready to call it quits yet.

Dick Clark will be on TV for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009.” Seacrest will help Clark host the show. This show lasts 3 and a half hours. It stars Natasha Bedingfield, Fall Out Boy, Jesse McCartney, Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, Solange and Robin Thicke. Fergie is the host for the Hollywood segments.
