Diane Kruger wore a sexy, black, see through dress to dinner at Fondacion Cini. This dinner party was part of the 65th Venice Film Festival, in Venice, Italy, on the night of August 31. Diane Kruger, an actress from Germany, will act with Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards. The director is Quentin Tarantino.

Diane Kruger, 32, will act as a German movie star character, Bridget Von Hammersmark, in Inglorious Bastards. That just suits her fine, since she is German in origin. Tarantino had chosen Diane Kruger as the first member of the female cast. Diane Kruger’s past movie credit was in “Troy”, where she had the plum role of Helen, of Troy.

Leonardo Di Caprio and Nastassja Kinski were dropped from the potential casting arrangements. Christoph Waltz, a German actor, will be cast as the villain, Colonel Hans Landa. Other confirmed cast members are Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender, B.J. Novak and Samm Levine. Film maker Eli Roth will be in the production department. The tapes will roll on Oct. 13 and the movie is scheduled for release in 2009.

Diane Kruger’s boyfriend is Joshua Jackson.
