Diana Levine, a musician, had her arm amputated. Levine’s arm had gangrene after Wyeth’s Phherergan anti-nausea drug damaged her artery and caused infection. Levine sued Wyeth. Levine won the lawsuit and was awarded $6.7 million.

Diana Levine was injured in April 2000. Wyeth had appealed against an earlier award in Feb 2008. Today, we learn that Wyeth lost the appeal against Diana Levine. Levine’s photo before her amputation is at the link.
