Dennis Quaid’s new born twins almost died in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The Quaid twins were given massive overdoses of heparin, a blood thinner. Quaid went on air with Oprah Winfrey to have a second look at Cedars-Sinai.

Quaid toured the hospital with Oprah. Cedars-Sinai has improved their care with computerized record keeping of medicines administered to patients. This is one of the preventive measures against errors. Dennis Quaid said his twins are presently happy and healthy. This is a happy closure.
