i heard that he admitted to doing it sometime before he shot himself. but i really think the school system handled it the wrong way, he was guilty until proven innocent.

And how else should have police proceeded?? The reality is that his computer and documents at his home were seized, pursuant to proper 4th Amendment search/seizure procedures, and he knows what is stored on that computer. After that, a guilty man, who knows what will be found and that all his little secrets will be exposed and his reputation ruined sometimes kills himself. An innocent person, who knows that he will be vindicated by the findings of nothing to show on his computer does not kill himself, but is confident in his innocense
Stop being ignorant to people’s reactions to their accusors and realize that there are bad people out there, who aren’t always easily spotted in the dark corners of city streets. They live among us.

I think people need to just let the whole subject be. This is a very sad situation and my thoughts and prayers are with May’s family and everyone involved, especially all of the students that are now going to have to deal with this. I have been reading alot of the comments that put May down and say really bad things about him and I have also read that the student that accused him is a liar. Honestly, WE ARE NOT TO JUDGE ANYBODY. Nobody that has seen anything on the news or read in the paper or even just heard by ear has any right to judge the situation. Please, just let this be and let the people involved handle it. It ended sadly and many will continue to suffer from this incedent.

I was a student of May’s this year. He was an awesome teacher, and he did damn well at his teaching. He was nice, smart, nerdy(in a good way, though), and kind. I just read&heard Mr. May’s last call with the Stow Police, before he shot himself with a Marlon Rifle. There are many rumors of who tattled, but nobody has been confirmed. I just hope whoever did tattle, have the guilt on themselves until they die, knowing that they made somebody take their own life.

Adam, you’re a dumbass. The kid who had this experience will feel bad about this for the rest of his life – though they shouldn’t. They had every right to share that a teacher crossed the line with them. No one MAKES someone else kill themselves – they CHOOSE to kill themselves. That kid had everyright to talk and Mr. May had every right to choose to live through the experience. Mr. May wussed out and chose to not deal. What a horrible example he put out there.
Anyone can be good at their job, but suck at making good decisions between right and wrong. Your having Mr. May’s back just because you though he was a good teach is absurd. What if you found out that Mr. May showed your little sister some porn during a study hall? Are you OK with THAT?
Don’t place blame on the kid, don’t place blame on the crime – place the blame on the moment Mr. May felt it was easier to hide than to either deal with his actions or prove his innocence.
Mr. May did something wrong and got off easy.
This kid did something right and will suffer others’ ignorance forever.
Shut your pie hole and grow up.

This was probably the tip of the iceberg. May was undoubtably living a double life and that life was about to come out. The word out of Hudson was that this guy was overly familiar with his students and would spend evenings IMing them online. I just wonder how many times he has shown porn clips in the past, he just got caught this time.

He had probably been doing this a long time and finally got caught.

Most of the time when these guys get caught, its not the first time they have done this.
