Dennis John Malloosseril, a director of the St. Thomas Syrian Orthodox Knanaya Church, in New Jersey, has died. Malloosseril died in hospital after being shot in his head. Joseph Pallipurath, the husband of Reshma James, had shot her in her head. When Malloosseril rushed to her aid, Pallipurath shot at him. The same thing happened to Silvy Perincheril, 47, the Sunday school principal of the New Jersey church.

Joseph Pallipurath then fled in a green Jeep Wrangler with California license plates 5JHD200. Police are searching for him and they believe Pallipurath would be driving cross country back to California, where he resides.
