Dennis D. Hernandez, of Lamont, California, was driving his truck, hauling sound system equipment for Bret Michael’s reality TV show, “Rock of Love.” Dennis Hernandez supposedly fell asleep behind the wheel. The truck crossed over the interstate in Southern Illinois and crashed into a SUV and another pickup truck.

Yasmin S. Jackson and Kevetta C. Davis, both 19 and of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, were in the SUV and killed. A couple in the pickup truck was airlifted to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dennis Hernandez was charged with driving on a suspended license. Hernandez was also charged on several other traffic related offenses.

Bret Michaels, the star of “Rock of Love”, will have his show premiere in early 2009. In the past, “Rock of Love” was aired on VH1.
