Denard Manns: Manns execution for Michelle Robson death

On Thursday night, Nov.  13, Denard Manns, 42, would be executed for murdering Michelle Robson, 26. Michelle Robson was a soldier from Fort Hood. Denard Manns killed Michelle Robson in 1998 in her apartment in Killeen, in Central Texas. Denard Manns was out on parole after he served almost 6 years of his 5-10 year term for armed robbery. Then he was charged and convicted for robbing, raping and killing Michelle Robson, an army medic.

Denard Manns has exhausted all appeals and his plea for his death sentence to be commuted to life in prison was rejected. Denard Manns would become the 17th death row prisoner to be executed in 2008.
