Degos disease is a rare disease that affects the veins and arteries. The blood vessels become blocked and suffer tissue infarction. This disease is so rare that only about 50 living people have it worldwide.
Treatment for Degos disease involves taking drugs containing antiplatelets, anticoagulants, and immuno-suppressants.
Degos disease may be a result of other vascular systemic disorders.
