Deborah Digges, 59, seemed to have committed suicide. Digges was found dead near McGuirk Alumni stadium. Digges, of 101 Blue Hills Road, Amherst,Massachusetts, was seen walking along the higher level of McGuirk Alumni stadium Friday, April 10.

Temple University women’s lacrosse team was at the stadium Friday and they saw her walking. Some time later, the women found Digges at the ground level of the stadium.

Professor Deborah Digges taught English at Tufts University. Digges was a local author and poet in Amherst, Mass.
