Debi Joy Olson admitted she stalked her ex husband Mauricio Droguett prior to stabbing him to death. Olson, 53, represented herself in court. Olson pleaded guilty. Olson, 53, suffers from Huntington’s disease. Huntington is a progressive, genetic disease that degenerates brain cells and affects mental competency.

The judge in charge of Huntington’s case ordered a competency test and would enforce the tests by non-consensual means if Olson refuses to co-operate.
