Dawn Fraser, 71, is the Olympic Gold Medalist, for Australia’s swimming event during 1956 – 1964. Dawn Fraser said she was attacked by an intruder at her home during the past weekend. Fraser, whose home is in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, said the stranger entered her gate and grabbed her.

Fraser said she caught hold of the man’s ear and kicked him in his groin. Fraser showed her guts and feisty attitude as she fought against her assailant.

Dawn Fraser had a male friend visiting at her home at the time of the intrusion and he detained the intruder until the cops arrived. Fraser said the suspect had intended to rob her.

The intruder was lucky as he was not charged. Police said it was a trespassing case.
