David Smith was a virgin at 650 lbs. Smith literally and figuratively woke up from his state one day. Smith decided to become a fat buster to change his life and stop self-pity. Smith did it and slimmed down to weigh 240 lbs. Smith lost 410 pounds; almost two thirds of his old weight.

David Smith looks hot now. He shared his dieting journey in TLC, Sundays.

Is David Smith still a virginity? When did Smith lose his virginity? Well, you have to keep a close watch on his TV program to discover what he is willing to share on his personal life.

WOW~!!!! i’m watching this on t.v. right now, and this is opening up my eyes. I have now realized that I have really bad habbits like spending too much time watching t.v. and being on the computer. I am on the slow journey to death if I keep this up! Even though i’m only about 15lbs overweight, this is really an eye opener! If David can loose weight, keep fit, and stay healthy, I’m gonna do it too! David, if your reading this, I’m really thankful to you for being such an inpiration and staying strong! :)

I was watching this show on TLC. I think it is so great that they finally show a man that can do it without surgury. My mom went throught the surgery a few years ago. She still to this day has problems. I am about 90 lbs overweight. I have a difficulty losing weight because of a medical condition. I also have a three year old son. If it wouldn’t be for him i wouldn’t get up and move as much as i do. Thank you for telling your story David. And on staying a vergin until you are married good luck. I wish you luck in the future.

    Hello David,

I am so thankful to see you entering a wonderful season of your life. Clearly you have seen dark seasons of pain, abuse, bullying, loneliness etc. I have been bullied and know the pain. This hopefully shows you that God has an amazing purpose and plan for your life. God willing, you will move forward, find a loving wife, build a family and continue to help and encourage others! I really hope this show does not consume your life though. Please, do not give up one area of bondage for another. Please seek the Lord for His plan and purpose for YOUR life. He loves you! Also, why the word “virgin” is in the name of the show is suspect for the motives of the show. That does not define you. Please, please do not “become one” with a strange woman. You have a gift to offer your wife. She will be thankful. God bless you! Lisa

Hey David, I just want to say that you are absolutely amazing and a true inspiration.I can’t even begin to describe how immensely you’ve touched my heart and how proud I am of you.I admire your strength, courage, passion, drive and your will. You’ve given so much to those who struggle with obesity. I’ve lost 100lbs and it’s a long hard and emotional battle.I still have a little ways to go. I’m 27 and just begining to date and I’m still very insecure about my body especially my excess skin.I’ve struggled my entire life being over weight. I’ve never felt pretty or desireable.I just want to be loved and appreciated for who I am.It just seems that inner beauty is so over looked. You’re an amazing person and a true inspiration and deserve all the happiness in the world.I would love to get to know you, because I just can’t get you out of my mind. You have touched my heart immensely. I would love to begin a friendship with you because I can truly empathize with you and it would be nice to talk to a kind hearted person like myself.

I was looking online for a weight loss program when I saw your story. It made me realize that I don’t need to buy into an expensive program to lose the weight I want to lose. I am diabetic, 37, the mom of two teens, and at 5′4\, and 175 lbs., I am being told I am obese by my doctor. I dont think obese is the word I would use, but if they insist on it, I want to show them that I can change. I have been told that with the right diet, and about 40 lb weight loss, I could be taken off insulin, which is my goal. You have inspired me to talk to a nutritionist and get it RIGHT! Thanks Dave, & you too Chris, for showing us how it SHOULD be done. Give thanks every day for your friendship, and know that you have helped someone.

  11. Jenny Says:

Wow! I have been struggling with my weight my entire life…I have gone through a horribly abusive marriage and have 3 beautiful children, but ever since my third child, I have been unable to take off the weight & have found that I eat whenever I am bored, sad, depressed, happy….always! I am about 80 lbs over weight and have been on several yo-yo diets. I watched David’s story the other night on TLC & was in shock! Here I am complaining and he put everything he had in to this change and gained a best friend! He is an inspiration to many and I commend him for all of his hard work & achieveing his goals. You have given me hopw and I thank you. God Bless you, David & Chris for sticking by him…you are a true friend.
