David Osmond, Alan Osmond’s son, auditioned for American Idol when it went to Salt Lake City. Alan Osmond is the oldest of the performing Osmonds. Alan Osmond fought Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for 20 years now. David Osmond had MS for 3 years. At one time, David Osmond was confined to using a wheel chair but he recovered.

In the American Idol audition, David Osmond sang “Something Within Me” by Take 6.
