April 17, 2009 – David Beckham’s ad for Motorola’s Aura phone, valued at 1,400 pounds per unit, is released. Beckham’s image was altered to create a futuristic look. Beckham had a red laser in his right eye and the right side of his body was shown like an X-ray scan. Beckham looked like a character from Terminator. Watch the video below.

David Beckham has a new tattoo on his left arm. It is a biblical proverb written in Hebrew. The proverb said, “My son, do not forget my teaching but keep my commands in your heart.” This tattoo was inked by Beckham’s regular tattoo artist, Louis Malloy.

Beckham and his family were in UK to celebrate Christmas. The Sun’s source said Victoria Adams Beckham was against the idea of her husband getting yet another tattoo but David went ahead to get it done.

Eric Emmett, 55, and June Emmett, 56, were arrested on suspicion of theft. Eric Emmett and June Emmett work as housekeepers for David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. Police were alerted after Victoria Beckham’s personal dresses and David Backham’s soccer memorabilia were listed for sale in ebay. Eric Emmett and June Emmett denied stealing from the Beckham couple.

London Mayor Boris Johnson will receive the Olympic flag at the Bird’s Nest Stadium. David Beckham will perform a super kick on a football on top of a red double decker London bus.

One other highlight of the Olympic closing ceremony will be Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis, who will perform “Whole Lotta Love.” The show will cost $4.6 million. 90,000 spectators in the stadium will see it live while millions will tune in on their TV sets.

David Beckham’s football team, LA Galaxy, has some major changes. AEG, owners of LA Galaxy, dismissed both LA Galaxy president Alexi Lalas and head coach Ruud Gullit.

Some reports said that both Alexi Lalas and Ruud Gullit were fired. Others said Ruud Gullit resigned, while Alexi Lalas was fired. Ruud Gullit knew since last week that it was going to happen. Gullit gave up his house to the property market last week. LA Galaxy had lost 7 games straight. David Beckham tried his best for LA Galaxy and yet it could not change the tide.

David Beckham modeled Emporio Armani briefs again. Armani’s people had plenty of suggestions from 2007’s campaign so this 2008, they out-did themselves. A picture is worth a thousand words.

There was suspicion all around. Armani’s spokesman denied airbrushing was used.

To give the benefit of the doubt, one can suggest that the older a man gets, the saggier the appendages.

David Beckham’s Dad, Ted, said that after he died in the ambulance, he has reunited with David. He revealed that David asked him to coach at his schools. Other juicy morsels included expectations on having a baby girl, David’s change of heart in having tattoos, and his soft funny talking but tough stance.

Yes, Catherine Choppin said David talks funny in his high pitched voice.

David and Victoria Beckham have given their new Dubai mansion to Victoria’s parents, Tony, 61, and Jackie Adams, 59, to use. The Beckhams retain their ownership but since the house was empty, they have allowed the Adams to stay there like a holiday home. The house cost £800,000 in 2002 but is now worth £8 million. That is a huge nest egg.

David’s parents were divorced. They lived separately. Ted Beckhams and Sandra Beckhams might feel snubbed but it would not be fair to give the house to one divorced parent while the other gets nothing.

David Beckham became the fifth player after Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Billy Wright and Peter Shilton, to earn his 100th caps for England.

Beckham Clan included Victoria, Romeo, 5, Cruz, 3, Beckham’s parents Ted, 59, and Sandra, 58, his sister Joanne, 26, also joined parents-in-law Tony and Jackie.

England lost 1-0 to France although David wore his special, customized Goldenboots.

David gave a speech to express his feelings and gratitude to be honored to achieve this great milestone in history.
